Amount: $500 per recipient

Scholarship Criteria:

Graduating high school senior with an address located within the Beacon Hill area.
If no seniors are available, apply or meet applicable criteria, the Scholarship Officers may expand the search using the Grandfather Clause (applicant is a blood relative of someone who lived in Beacon Hill from 1960-1990, i.e., parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, etc., and completes all of the listed requirements.) or
A freshman currently in college maintaining no less than a “B” average who meets one of the above criteria.
Household income below $50,000
Minimum enrollment of six (6) credit hours per semester at a community college and twelve (12) credit hours at an accredited four year college or university. Submit school schedule and/or Letter of Acceptance.
Minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale – Submit high school transcript or college transcript.
Write a 200-word essay – Topic: My Educational/Career Goals
Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from non-family members.
Complete ten (10) hours of community volunteer services in the Beacon Hill area. Submit letter of completion.
